Assoc. of Washington International Student Affairs

Message from the Chair

Welcome!  Thank you for your interest in the Association of Washington International Student Affairs (AWISA)!  AWISA is a group of international educators in Washington State that meet quarterly for training, collaboration, and networking.  AWISA meetings feature sessions on a wide variety of topics: international student recruitment, international student and scholar regulations, study abroad programming, ESL instruction, planning on-campus activities and more.  AWISA also offers informal social and networking opportunities.

AWISA is an exciting organization of dynamic professionals that provide a network of international education knowledge and information.

We warmly welcome new members!  If you are interested in learning more about AWISA, please attend our next meeting!  Please also feel free to email me with any inquiries.

Sincerely,

Mariah Ortiz
